Intimate Wedding in Milford, MI & Detroit, MI

In one of the most intimate and serene wedding ceremonies I’ve ever had the honor of witnessing, Kathy and Kevin, accompanied by their children, whom are all part of the bridal party, and surrounded by thirty to forty of their closest friends and family, exchanged their vows outdoors at the center of the very charming Lafontaine Family Amphitheater. I particularly loved the uniqueness of the setting: guests were not seated and they were able to gather freely around the couple and the officiant to celebrate and witness Kathy and Kevin’s union. The ceremony lasted just short of twenty beautiful minutes; every second felt precious. Visibly lovestruck and emotionally-charged, the couple, hands and gazes still intertwined, carried on with the rest of the wedding day with a reception in downtown Detroit. As I work with them on capturing photos and documenting their day, I’ve come to realize that Kathy and Kevin are true romantics at heart. They indisputably understand that nothing is for granted and that savoring and sharing all the moments in between moments with one another is just as important as celebrating the highlights of life. Love goals.
